Empowering students through leadership, service, and real environmental impact
If you’re interested in following the Student Scholarship & Leadership Program — whether you’re a student, parent, teacher, or supporter — join our interest email list to receive updates, timelines, and program announcements.
If you are a high school student ready to participate, you do not need to wait — you can apply now.
This program was created because we believe students deserve to be seen, supported, and rewarded for the effort they put into showing up.
Too often, young people are asked to volunteer, fundraise, and lead without ever being recognized that their work truly matters. We wanted to change that. We wanted to create something that recognizes commitment, responsibility, and the courage it takes to step forward and try.
At Eco Clean Marine, we’ve watched students grow when they’re trusted with real responsibility. When students take ownership—whether through volunteering, fundraising, or both—they gain confidence, pride, and a deeper belief in themselves.
This program exists to honor that growth.
Leadership doesn’t look the same for everyone, and it shouldn’t. Some students lead with their time, some with their initiative, and some with a balance of both. This program allows students to earn scholarships in a way that reflects who they are and how they contribute.
More than anything, this is about impact with purpose. Impact for students. Impact for their future. And impact that reaches beyond them into the communities they care about.
Because the effort students put in here creates real impact in their communities and helps shape the leaders they’re becoming.
Student Scholarship Fund - This fundraiser supports scholarships awarded to students involved in the program through fundraising, volunteering, or a combination of both.
Funds raised are used to recognize students who show commitment, effort, and leadership throughout the initiative.
Students can earn recognition through the time, effort, and energy they give back to their local community.
By volunteering at Eco Clean Marine trash cleanups, students directly support cleaner waterways while building responsibility, consistency, and leadership through service.
Artificial Reed Program - This fundraiser supports the installation of inshore artificial reefs designed to strengthen local marine ecosystems.
These reef systems help support fish populations, improve habitat, and contribute to a healthier coastal environment and fishing economy.

100% Student-Focused Fundraiser
The Youth Scholarship & Student Support Fund is a fundraising initiative created exclusively to support students involved in the program.
100% of the funds raised are returned directly to students through scholarships, awards, or designated student support opportunities.
None of the funds raised are used for Eco Clean Marine operations or overhead.
Eco Clean Marine serves only as the organizer and facilitator ensuring the fundraiser is structured, transparent, and fair.
This fundraiser exists to invest in students, encourage leadership, and strengthen our local community.

The Artificial Reef Program Fundraiser is a project-based initiative focused on restoring inshore marine habitat through the installation of dock-mounted artificial reef systems.
Funds raised through this fundraiser are used to design, build, and install artificial reef habitat units at docks and marinas—creating shelter for marine life, improving water quality, and strengthening local ecosystems where people live, work, and recreate.
This is a capital impact fundraiser, meaning donations support tangible, long-term environmental infrastructure that can be documented, revisited, and measured over time.
This fundraiser allows students and supporters to take part in creating visible, lasting environmental impact beyond traditional cleanups.

Volunteering with Eco Clean Marine gives high school students the opportunity to earn recognition through hands-on service while making a real difference in their local community.
Through organized trash pickup events, students contribute their time, effort, and energy to keeping waterways clean — supporting healthier coastlines, stronger communities, and a deeper sense of responsibility and leadership.
Volunteer participation is valued alongside fundraising as an important path within the Student Scholarship & Leadership Program.
